In Hebrew, most names have a meaning. Ethan means strong, Gilad means joy and, well Amir he’s a prince.  Amir has one of the most striking faces and striking jawlines I have ever seen.  To me he looked just like a prince from a far-away land (like a far away land in the middle-east?).  We were in San Pedro la Laguna, Guatemala and I found him doing spanish homework.  Like most things in life he was driven to learn this romance language to romance his new found Mexican love.
